Service Description

Yoga is a holistic practice combining physical poses (asana) whole body stretches with mindfulness, breathing techniques, and meditation. The combination of these practices promotes functional mobility, self discovery and helps rebalance the nervous system along with boosting the immune system. This restorative gentle introduction to yoga helps you understand how to move and stretch in a way that is safe and most beneficial to you and your body. This Yoga class will be very gentle and is everyone no yoga experience needed. You will be on your mat. Benefits of Yin Restorative Yoga: strength, flexibility, and endurance, but studies have also found that regular practice may help: Lower the risk of cardiovascular disease Recovery from strokes and surgery Prevent falls Manage arthritis, pain and inflammation Manage diabetes Manage digestive issues like IBS Improve sleep quality Facilitate the grieving process Manage depression and anxiety **Always check with your doctor before joining any exercise class.** Registration is a must. Spaces are limited and classes fill up fast due to limited spaces available only 7 participants per class. Things to know: ~Please bring your own yoga mat/ blocks ~Small group ~Payment is due at time of registration unless you are a punch card holder (no exceptions). ~Mask to be worn inside the studio and mask can be removed during class (this is your own level of comfort). ~Temperature will be checked upon entering studio/ hand sanitizer/ no shoes in yoga room please.
